Select events are for members only, but most are open to anyone for attend. Our major annual professional gathering is SWARM, which unites online community builders and managers across industries. ACM Professional Members receive free and discounted tickets.

Sarah Moran is CEO and co-founder of Girl Geek Academy, a community-centric movement to help inspire one million women into technology by 2025.


The Academy's many cooperative initiatives include a hackathon tackling family violence in Australia and the world's largest all-women incubator. Sarah began her career in online community and she's used those skills to build a thriving community supporting women in technology and collaborate strategically with international communities with shared goals.


Sarah joins us for a Yarn about the lessons she's learned building the Girl Geek community, and her tips for nurturing and sustain impactful communities of purpose across platforms and place.
